Last Tuesday I attended a great Lunch & Learn homegrown series put together by AIGA Raleigh. The speaker was Todd Moy of Viget and he talked about the Secret Life of Usability. Over time humans have created a world full of unnecessary complexity. Healthcare, voting, finances, real estate (the list goes on) are all extremely important parts of modern living that a person needs to be able to understand. But how is someone expected to make informed decisions regarding those t0pics if all of the systems surrounding them are so bloated with uncalled for complexity?
